Victorian mahogany cupboard with lovely carved flower detailing on the doors.
This has been restored in our workshop and is in good antique condition. It is stable and solid. The damaged top was replaced with a new piece of hardwood that has been lime waxed. The body of the cupboard was painted in a layered effect in shades of grey, green and white paint, and the doors were painted in Steam Engine green. The paintwork was then lime waxed to give the cupboard a cohesive look. It has a functioning lock and key.
Check out the inside for some value added stencils 😉 and a whole lot of storage. I have tried to keep this piece multipurpose, while enhancing it’s rustic credentials and the unusual carvings, so that it would fit in almost any room…
