Beautiful vintage wash stand, with it original marble and towel rail.
This has been fully restored in our workshop and is in good condition. The marble was refinished and the woodwork has been painted in Farrow & Ball’s sulking room pink, a lovely shade that seems to change colour depending on the light. The centre panels on the door have been decoupaged with a stunning floral paper, which has a lovely aged appearance. The original handles and towel rail have been refurbished and gilded. The paper and gilding has been given several coats of varnish for protection.
In my dreams I have a dressing room and this would take centre stage, but you can put it in a bathroom, dressing room, bedroom or anywhere you fancy really…
