Description
A vintage oak dresser in excellent condition. Made from solid oak and designed to reference a much earlier period dresser. It was clearly made by a quality manufacturer and is a substantial, and originally expensive, piece of furniture.
Solid oak throughout, including the tongue and groove panelled back. Joints are all morticed and the drawer fronts are dovetailed.
This has been sanded to reveal the beautiful oak patina, previously buried under layers of varnish. The frame has been painted in Dulux Overtly Olive, which is actually quite a subtle light green shade. The oak was waxed with antique brown Briwax and the paint was finished with neutral wax.
