A charming Edwardian display cabinet, that we have restored and is now in good condition for a piece of it’s kind. These were not designed to be particularly robust and were intended to display knick knacks and other lightweight items. We have replaced the back and shelves but would recommend using it as it was always intended to be used.
We covered the back with a vintage Jonelle fabric depicting Japanese scenes including gorgeous Geishas and painted the body of the cabinet in a complimentary shade of blue, somewhat confusingly called Smalt Grey by Craig and Rose. We left the door in it’s original wood as a nod to it’s history.
Dimensions: Width 55cm; Height 116cm and Depth 29cm.
