Description
A truly exceptional Art Nouveau oak chiffonier, that has been restored in our workshop, and is in excellent condition. It is very solid and all the drawers and doors function as they should. We even have keys for it!
This has been stripped and sanded, some of the golden oak has been waxed and the rest has been painted in a custom mix shade of green typical of the era. The incredible hardware is original and has been restored to its former glory. There are two cupboards on either side of a deep centre drawer, as well as two slimmer drawers, so plenty of storage. The mirrored top is also in good condition and perfect for lamps and displaying decorative items.
This is an amazing piece, and I think for once it really is fair to say they don’t make furniture like this anymore, in fact I don’t even think they made much furniture of this quality originally!
