More things you can’t live without… π
World Desk Chair
Organ Console
This is a vintage organ bench that we stole from a local church – only kidding – but it is a genuine church organ bench hence the extra height (think pedals). I think you could either use it as a console table or as an occasional bench in a hallway, it’s definitely a talking point wherever you put it. Or, radical idea, you could use it for playing the organ should you have such a thing π
French Bookcase
Vintage French armoire/bookcase with shelves made from a recycled vintage door. We bought this without shelves and decided that rather than just buy some new wood (that would be too easy) we would get an old door and spend hours making it into shelves. Either we are dedicated design geniuses or bonkers, take your pick π The cushions and big acorns (and who doesn’t need a big acorn in their life?) are new in from Biggie Best.
Balmoral Nearly Black Desk
Vintage desk painted in nearly black with dark stained drawers and top. There is a central scriver that we have decoupaged with a vintage map of Scotland, more specifically Balmoral and the surrounding area. I have spent quite a lot of time staring at said map as I dried each coat of varnish with a hair dryer (all that lovely weather we’ve been having has meant everything is taking hours to dry!) It’s actually quite interesting, I feel I should visit sometime soon… π

Bow Front File Drawers
Bow fronted vintage chest, painted in a grey/green and dark waxed. It has a pull out writing thing (any suggestions for the correct terminology gratefully received) and would make a cool filing cabinet but it would be equally useful in a hallway or lounge, let’s face it if you like it you can do what you like with it π
