I had a ‘what the heck is this?’ moment when I was labelling this πŸ˜€ I think we settled on Arts & Crafts (we’re pretty confident about that) vanity cupboard, but smallest dressing table ever, bedside with delusions of grandeur and pot cupboard with handy mirror were all contenders…

Flock of Birds Dressing Chest

Vintage dressing table in dark grey with added birds, they all seem to be flying west…Is it really embarrassing that I still have to recite ‘naughty elephants squirt water’ to work out what direction I mean? πŸ˜€

Arrow Dresser

Our latest dresser (as the last one didn’t hang around long!) This one is painted in Craig and Rose Authentic Period Colours just for a change, and it’s called Pentland which is a ‘Gentle, shaded umber brown that evokes the oil-painting technique chiaroscuro. Deeply warming in quiet spaces’ apparently. I don’t think I can better that… πŸ˜€

Weathered Trunks

A tower of trunks…These weathered oak chests have just arrived at Antiquechic, they remind me of Goldilocks and the Three Bears (obviously) πŸ˜‰ whatever your requirements I’m sure one of them must be ‘just right’… πŸ˜€

Large Ornate Horse

What can I say about this horse that I haven’t already said in previous posts? I’ve quoted Shakespeare, nursery rhymes and talked frankly about my addiction to all things horse related. Aztec Desk

We were the last chance saloon for this Victorian piece, either we rescued it or it would have met an untimely end :0 Despite having been unloved for years, it just needed a bit of TLC Β to get it’s mojo back. Now to rehome it… Β πŸ˜€

Rustic Carved Console

Gorgeous carved weathered oak console. This one would definitely have made a permanent detour to chateau Gerry if I had any room Β πŸ˜€
