Cool Tone Chest of Drawers

Vintage grey painted oak chest with colour washed drawers and an ornate gilt mirror. It all looks rather French n’est-ce pas? Although none of it actually is 😉

Marble Topped Cabinet

Marble topped antique French buffet. Put it in the shop on Friday, sold it Tuesday and we were delivering it by Wednesday, reminds me of a song by Craig David 😉

King of Chairs

Vintage chair. I would love to know the history of this chair, I think the seat may have been made from a packing crate as it has print on the underside, otherwise it has an ethnic look to it which I have accentuated with a ‘chippy’ paint finish and a paisley stencil. We’ll probably never find out but it’s certainly one of a kind!

Into the Blue Chest

Victorian chest of drawers. I painted this in a gorgeous deep teal/blue and added a copper stencil to one of the drawers – I didn’t want to add too much bling, it’s quite an imposing piece of furniture and it wouldn’t be dignified 😉

Jug Display Dresser

Painted dresser. This is a bit of an homage to a display I saw in Tetbury last weekend, if you’ve not been I can thoroughly recommend it, an absolutely picture perfect town full of quirky antique shops. Anyway one of them had a dresser (rather more vintage than this one I suspect) with a striking arrangement of identical white jugs, and it just happens I have a selection of jugs so… Obviously being me I had to add a few other bits, I’m rubbish at minimalism 😀
