Sometimes the furniture designs itself… I was attacking the original white paint on this pine chest with the sander, and wondering what the heck kind of indestructible paint it was, when I realised that I had inadvertently created rather a cool finish on the drawers 😉 Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth (where on earth did that saying come from?! The mind boggles) I decided to work with it. Some sage green paint, a few botanical stencils and some gorgeous ceramic knobs later and voila! I’m very happy with the end result 🙂
